Exploring the potential of ZnO nanoparticle antifungal with biostabilizers bidara leaves (Ziziphus spina-christi L.)

The synthesis of nanoparticles can be carried out by means biology, physics or chemistry. In the last few years, it has begun to conducted biologically in synthesizing nanoparticles. One which is using plant extracts. This study used bidara leaf extract as a biostabilizer for ZnO. objectives this were 1) determine structure ZnO characterized SEM-EDX and XRD tests 2) inhibitory activity Malassezia furfur We employed well diffusion method with three treatments, namely DMSO positive control, ketoconazole negative treatment. Characterization XRD. results nanoparticle characterization indicated particle sizes ranging from 42 - 87 nm, obtained peak purity sample. antifungal showed that able inhibit fungal growth, diameter inhibition zone formed was 22 mm.
